DVD Pacific is firmly committed to protecting
your privacy. Without your consent we will not use your personal
information to send you promotional materials you have not
requested nor will we release it to other companies at any
time for any reason. At DVD Pacific, privacy is our

Because the information we gather from you is personal, we
feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions
surrounding the capture and use of that information. This
Privacy Policy discloses what information we gather, how we
use it, and how to correct or change it.
By using our Site (as defined in the Terms and Conditions/FAQ's),
you consent to the collection and use of this information by DVD Pacific
and abiding by the aforementioned terms/FAQ's is in itself a term of use
of our site.
Collection and Use of Information
When you visit the Site, we will occasionally
ask you to provide us with some personal information. We need
this information to fill your orders, send you important messages,
and personalize your shopping experience.
Here is the information we collect at DVD Pacific and
how we use it:
- When you create an account with DVD Pacific, we will
ask for your name, mailing address, phone number, email
address,credit card number/expiration date and password.
With your consent, we will occasionally use this information
to contact you about new releases, bargains and special
giveaways. You have the option of removing yourself from
our mailing list at any time.
- If you wish to send a product link to a friend, we will
ask for your friend's email address in order to fulfil your
request. DVD Pacific will not disclose this email address
to other parties or send promotional emails to this address.
- When you enter a DVD Pacific contest or play
a promotional game, we will ask for your name, mailing address,
email address or other relevant personal information so
that we can administer the contest and notify winners.
- If you post a customer review, we collect the information
you post.
- If you email DVD Pacific with questions, suggestions
or comments, we will collect your email address so that
we may respond.
- While you are shopping at DVD Pacific, you may store
products you would like to purchase later in a personalized
Wish List. If you would like to send this Wish List to a
friend or family member, we will ask for that person's email
address.
- If your order is to be shipped to another address as a
gift, you will need to submit the recipient's name, mailing
address and phone number as the shipping address.
- We use some of the foregoing types of information internally
to improve how the Site benefits you.
- If required by law or to enforce, protect or apply our
rights, we may release such information as is required.
Protecting Your Information
The Site uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety and security of your personal information. All user contact information is contained behind secured networks and is accessible only by a limited number of employees who have agreed to comply with all of our privacy and security policies. Passwords and credit card numbers are encrypted in our secure database, which is also located behind secured networks and certified by Geotrust. All credit card information supplied by users is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted in DVD Pacific's databases as stated above.

Automatic Collection of Information; Cookies and IP Addresses
We use a feature of your web
browser called a "cookie" to assign a unique identity to your
computer. Cookies are files that your web browser places on
your computer's hard drive. Our cookies enable us to provide
features such as welcoming you by name, saving your Wish List,
storing items in your Shopping Cart between visits, and setting
up other preferences you establish during each visit to the
Site.
We also use cookies to help determine whether you came to
the Site from a particular Internet link or banner advertisement.
Cookies can be used to help save and retrieve usernames used
on the Site and provide information on past purchases. This
is done for convenience and saves you the trouble of re-entering

unless you have previously purchased from or registered with
the Site. DVD Pacific does not and cannot use cookies
to retrieve personal information about you from your computer
unless such information was knowingly and willingly provided

Every computer on the Internet is identified by a unique number
called an IP address. If you have a static IP address, you
get the same number each time you connect. If you have a dynamic
IP address, a number is assigned from a pool of addresses
maintained by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) on a first-come
basis. DVD Pacific only uses your IP address to help
diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Site,
and to gather basic demographic information.
